Professional career

I completed my medical studies at the Kuban State Medical University in the south of Russia. Already during my studies, I decided to focus my medical career on surgical medicine. I wanted to pursue the broadest possible surgical training, in which I would encounter the entire range of surgical challenges.

So I came to Germany directly after my studies and, after my examination was recognised and I was granted my German licence to practise medicine, I began my basic surgical training with Dr. M. Littmann in the general and visceral surgery department of the St. Josef Hospital in Engelskirchen.

I continued my further training and professional career at the Clinic for Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at the German Heart Centre Berlin under the direction of Prof. V. Falk.

There I acquired in-depth knowledge and skills in cardiothoracic surgery and the associated highly specialised intensive care medicine for critically ill patients.

At the Department of General, Visceral and Vascular Surgery at Vivantes Humboldt Klinikum Berlin under Prof. U. Adam and Dr. Riediger, I successfully completed my further training and obtained the specialist title for general surgery. Furthermore, I ran my own consultation with a focus on minimally invasive gallbladder and hernia surgery. Here I was able to gain experience and expertise in complex hernia surgery under the guidance and friendly collegial support of Prof. Köckerling and Dr. Riediger.

Experience and work in the field of lipedema

Some time ago I got to know Dr Dominik von Lukowicz and the LIPOCURA® team. Unfortunately, the clinical picture of lipedema is currently only little researched. There are many patients who suffer from this disease and do not receive any qualified help. This fact touched my medical soul and I decided, together with the entire LIPOCURA® team, to take care of these patients.

The LIPOCURA® concept convinced me because all doctors can devote a lot of time to the patients and a sustainable improvement in the quality of life can be achieved. Last but not least, working according to the LIPOCURA® standard makes it possible to restore an aesthetic appearance.
