Professional career

Already during my studies at the Medical University of Vienna, the path to plastic surgery was clear to me. I specifically completed the majority of my training with stations in trauma surgery, general surgery and internal medicine at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Barmherzige Brüder Salzburg Hospital under the direction of Prim. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gottfried Wechselberger. There I already cared for lipedema patients and saw how the quality of life of those affected could be positively influenced by liposuction.

Due to the extensive spectrum there, I was able to successfully treat many patients with massive weight loss after surgical stomach reduction measures with tightening operations in the breast, abdomen, upper arm and thigh area and also perform many shape-correcting operations using lipofilling, especially in the breast area after cancer treatments, but also breast reductions, in addition to hand surgery, reconstructive operations, earplasty and upper eyelid lifts.
